2. How we use your information

We use it to:

  • create and manage your account
  • show shifts to Job Seekers and applications to Clinics
  • share contact details between a Clinic and a Job Seeker once an application is accepted
  • use your suburb to work out the distance to new shifts and send you new-shift alerts within the distance you choose
  • process subscriptions, shift fees and refunds
  • send emails needed to run the Platform, such as application updates, acceptances, receipts, reminders and cancellations
  • run the Loyalty Program and send e-gift vouchers
  • keep the Platform safe, prevent misuse and meet our legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who can see your information

  • Clinics and Job Seekers: contact details are shared only after a Clinic accepts a Job Seeker's application, and only between those two parties. Before then, Clinics see only applicant profile information, and Job Seekers see only shift details.
  • Our team: our administrators can see account, shift, application and payment records so they can run and support the Platform.
  • Service providers: we use trusted companies to run the Platform:
    • Stripe for payments
    • an email delivery provider to send emails
    • our hosting and technology provider.

They may only use your information to provide their services to us.

  • When required by law: we may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

4. Overseas storage

Some of our service providers, such as our payment and email providers, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

5. Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, scrambled passwords and limits on who can access records. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your password private.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. After that, we keep it for 7 years or as long as the law requires for tax and record-keeping, then delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • see and update most of your details at any time from your Profile page
  • ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct it
  • ask us to close your account and delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it.
